What it costs, who sees the ad and how Netflix advertising works. It cannot be bought on Publicit yet: here is which platforms are available today.
Netflix is not yet available on Publicit. The other platforms on this list are, with a 100 euro discount on the first campaign payment.
Netflix is not yet available on the Publicit infrastructure, as of September 2026, so today you cannot buy a Netflix space from the dashboard. What you can do is understand what its advertising costs and how it works, running on the Standard with ads plan launched in Spain on 10 November 2022, before and during series and films and unskippable, and advertise now on the streaming platforms that are available, such as Prime Video, Disney+ or HBO Max, with the same model Netflix will have when it joins: each space's price visible, a 10% fee plus VAT and campaigns from 500.
Netflix is the subscription streaming service with the most subscribers in the world and streams series, films, documentaries and, since 2024, some live events in Spain. Until late 2022 it carried no advertising: on 10 November 2022 it launched its cheapest plan with ads in Spain, then called Basic with ads and today Standard with ads, one of the first twelve markets where it was available.
The person who sees Netflix ads is therefore the subscriber who chose to pay less in exchange for advertising. It is an audience that watches on the living-room screen, in long sessions and with their attention on what they chose to watch, and that cannot skip the ad. Netflix does not publish subscriber numbers by country, so the real reach of a space will be given by the estimated impressions on its listing once available, not by a platform-wide figure.
Netflix ads are videos that run before the content starts and in breaks during playback, with an ad load that at launch Netflix put at around four to five minutes per hour and ads of 15 or 30 seconds. They cannot be skipped, and the viewer sees them on the same screen and at the same quality as the series or film.
Today the route to advertise on Netflix is direct sales: Netflix works with advertisers and agencies through deals and minimums that the platform itself sets and does not publish, designed for large budgets. On Publicit, Netflix is not yet available. When it joins, it will work like the other platforms on the infrastructure: the publishers representing that inventory will list their spaces with price, estimated impressions and restrictions, and you will request them one by one from the dashboard.
Netflix fits when you want your brand next to new releases and in front of an audience that paid to be there: launches, awareness campaigns, and brands that until now saw television as reserved for large budgets. While Netflix is not available on Publicit, you reach that same premium streaming audience today with Prime Video, Disney+ and HBO Max, targeting by city or region and buying per space, something that did not exist in linear TV.
Compared with Prime Video, where every Prime member sees ads unless they pay to remove them, on Netflix you only reach those who deliberately chose the ad plan: a smaller audience, but one that accepted advertising as part of the deal. And compared with Disney+ or HBO Max, Netflix has run ads in Spain since November 2022, which makes it the longest-running and most established ad plan among streaming platforms.
Netflix does not publish rate cards and is not yet available on Publicit. When it is, it will work like the other platforms on the infrastructure: the owner of each space will set its price and you will see it on the listing before requesting it, usually as a CPM, per thousand impressions delivered within the ad plan, with estimated impressions published.
Media cost = (CPM × impressions delivered) ÷ 1,000
On top of that media cost comes the Publicit fee, which is 10% of the media budget, plus VAT on both amounts at the rate that applies where your company is based. The owner of the space receives their full price: the 10% is charged to you, separately.
A campaign needs a total budget of at least 500 and a daily budget of at least 50, in the campaign currency. A specific space can also require a minimum number of campaign days, set by its owner and shown on the listing. You pay when the owner approves your request, not before, and the amount is held in escrow until delivery is evidenced. The full model is on the pricing page and in how much it costs to advertise on TV.
Every television space on the infrastructure publishes what an advertiser needs to decide without calling anyone. On a streaming platform like Netflix, what matters most is the price and its model, the estimated impressions, whether the ad runs in-stream on demand or live, the content category it runs next to and the owner's restrictions, plus the platform or programme, share, rating and average viewers when the publisher provides them. These are the fields the publisher fills in when listing the space, not Publicit estimates.
On Netflix the ad is a video that runs before the series or film and in breaks during playback, and it cannot be skipped, so you need a finished spot made to be watched on the living-room screen. Publicit validates it against the IAB Spain video formats: MP4, WebM or MOV, as pre-roll or mid-roll, with the exact dimensions and file sizes on the creative specs page. The space owner also approves the creative. Publicit sells and manages media; it does not produce the spot.
The same campaign and the same budget can be split across several television platforms, and across digital screens, billboards, metro, press and radio too. Every television platform available is listed under TV platforms you can advertise on.
Not yet. As of September 2026 Netflix is not available on the Publicit infrastructure, so no Netflix spaces appear in the dashboard search. Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max and the rest of the Connected TV platforms are available, with the same buying model Netflix will have when it joins.
Netflix does not publish rate cards: in direct sales it works with its own deals and minimums, designed for large advertisers. When Netflix is available on Publicit, the owner of each space will set its price and you will see it on the listing before requesting it, usually as a CPM, with a 10% fee plus VAT and a minimum per campaign of 500 total and 50 per day.

There is no committed date. This page will be updated when Netflix joins the infrastructure. If you sign up for free, new platforms appear in the dashboard search as soon as their publishers list spaces.
Advertise to the same kind of audience on the streaming platforms that are available: Prime Video, whose ads are seen by the whole Prime base that does not pay the add-on; Disney+ and HBO Max, with their ad-supported plans. You can limit the campaign to your city or region and start from 500 total.
A finished video spot in MP4, WebM or MOV, as pre-roll or mid-roll, with the dimensions and file sizes on the creative specs page. It is the same spot you can run today on Prime Video, Disney+ or HBO Max.
