Publicit validates creatives against the IAB Spain format taxonomy. Images are accepted as JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF, video as MP4, WebM or MOV, and audio as MP3, MP4, WAV, OGG or AAC. Dimensions are enforced strictly per format, with a 2% tolerance on aspect ratios, and no single creative may exceed 300 MB.
Images: JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF. SVG is deliberately not accepted, because a vector has no pixel dimensions to validate against a format spec.
Video: MP4, WebM and QuickTime (MOV).
Audio: MP3, MP4, WAV, OGG and AAC.
The absolute ceiling for any single creative is 300 MB, whatever the format.
Dimensions for these are strict: a creative that is not the exact size is rejected rather than scaled.
Five of the display sizes, drawn to scale.
| Format | Dimensions (px) | Max file size |
|---|---|---|
| Banner | 468 × 60 | 1 MB |
| Megabanner | 728 × 90 | 1 MB |
| Megabanner desplegable | 728 × 90 | 1 MB |
| Robapáginas | 300 × 250 | 1 MB |
| Robapáginas doble | 300 × 600 | 1 MB |
| Robapáginas desplegable | 300 × 250 | 1 MB |
| Display billboard | 970 × 250 | 1 MB |
| Skyscraper | 160 × 600 | 1 MB |
| Cintillo | 980 × 30 | 1 MB |
| Botón | up to 120 × 90 | 500 KB |
| Logo | up to 512 × 512 | 2 MB |
| Interstitial | up to 1920 × 1080 | 2 MB |
| Format | Resolution | Max file size |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll | Any resolution | 150 MB |
| Video, billboard video, masthead video | Any resolution | 300 MB |
| Vertical social video | 9:16 aspect ratio | 300 MB |
Vertical social video is checked against a 9:16 aspect ratio with a 2% tolerance, so a creative that is very slightly off is still accepted.
| Format | Max file size |
|---|---|
| Audio spot, and its pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll variants | 10 MB |
| Podcast | 300 MB |
| Format | Dimensions | Max file size |
|---|---|---|
| Social image | up to 1920 × 1920 | 10 MB |
| Social carousel | 1:1 square, up to 2048 × 2048 | 10 MB |
| Emailing and newsletter | up to 600 px wide | 2 MB |
Some spaces are listed without a specific format slug. In that case the creative is validated against the default for its category:
| Category | File types | Dimensions | Max file size |
|---|---|---|---|
| Display | JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF | up to 2000 × 2000 | 10 MB |
| Social media | Images and video | No fixed size | 300 MB |
| Email marketing | JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF | up to 800 px wide | 2 MB |
| Online video | MP4, WebM, MOV | No fixed size | 300 MB |
| Online audio | MP3, MP4, WAV, OGG, AAC | Not applicable | 100 MB |
| Search | JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF | No fixed size | 2 MB |
The maximum file sizes above are upload ceilings, not the strict IAB creative weight specs. They exist to reject genuinely oversized files. The platform's own converter compresses creatives well below them, so hitting the ceiling is unusual.
Dimensions, by contrast, are strict. If a format says 300 × 250, that is what is accepted.
Physical and broadcast formats are not validated by pixel size, because the artwork is produced to the dimensions of the specific space. Each exterior listing publishes its own width and height with units, so you produce to that.
An exterior space also publishes its viewing angle, viewing distance, whether it is illuminated, its daily traffic, and nearby points of interest with their distances. Exterior types are billboard, transit vehicle, transit station, mobile billboard, aerial and digital screen.
A television listing publishes its programme, channel and channel type, its share, rating and average viewers, the content category, and whether it runs in live or on-demand streams.
The platform minimum is a 500 total budget and a 50 daily budget per campaign, and an individual space can also carry a minimum number of campaign days set by its publisher, alongside its duration type: a fixed run, ongoing availability, a one-off event, or a newsletter send.
A space may also publish a timeslot, a frequency and a number of repetitions. All of it is on the listing before you request the space.
JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF. SVG is not accepted, because a vector image has no pixel dimensions to validate against a format specification.
150 MB for pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll. 300 MB for general video, billboard video, masthead video and vertical social video. 300 MB is also the absolute ceiling for any single creative on the platform, whatever the format.
It depends on the format. A standard banner is 468 by 60 pixels, a megabanner 728 by 90, a robapáginas 300 by 250, a display billboard 970 by 250 and a skyscraper 160 by 600. These dimensions are enforced strictly.
Aspect ratios are checked with a 2% tolerance, so a creative that is very slightly off still passes. Fixed pixel dimensions, by contrast, are strict and are not scaled to fit.
Yes. Physical formats are not validated by pixel size: each exterior space publishes its own width and height with units, along with its viewing angle, viewing distance, whether it is illuminated and its daily traffic, and you produce artwork to those dimensions.
The platform minimum is a 500 total budget and a 50 daily budget per campaign, in the campaign's currency. An individual space can also require a minimum number of campaign days, set by its publisher. That minimum is shown on the space listing before you request it.
Every listing shows its format, dimensions, pricing model and impressions data before you request it, so you can confirm the spec you need to produce for. Browsing is free.
