Advertise on DAZN

Live sport, with Formula 1 and MotoGP in Spain. What it costs, who sees the ad and how to run it yourself, without an agency.

New advertisers get a 100 euro discount on their first campaign payment.

You can advertise on DAZN, the live sport platform, without a direct deal with the platform: DAZN is among the Connected TV platforms on the Publicit infrastructure, every space publishes its price and you see it before requesting it. In Spain DAZN is the exclusive broadcaster of Formula 1 and MotoGP and streams football and other competitions, with video advertising in and around the events, so your spot reaches an audience concentrated in moments of high attention. On top of the media price you pay a 10% fee plus VAT, the minimum per campaign is 500 total and 50 per day, and you are only charged when the owner of the space approves the request.

What DAZN is and who sees the ads

DAZN is a global live sport subscription platform. In Spain it streams Formula 1 and MotoGP exclusively, plus football and other competitions that vary by season, and it has announced that during June and July 2026 it will offer the largest Connected TV advertising inventory in sport in Spain around the football World Cup.

The person who sees your ad is the fan who paid to follow their competition and watches it live, on a connected TV, a phone or a computer, in very specific and closely followed moments: a race, a grand prix, a match. Combined Formula 1 and MotoGP audiences on DAZN grew 7% in 2025, according to the platform itself, with more than 106 million hours of accumulated viewing.

How advertising on DAZN works

DAZN combines conventional ad formats, video and mentions, with special activations: in-broadcast moments, overlays on the picture, interactive placements and presence in features such as FanZone, plus direct collaborations with the competitions. In direct sales it presents proposals per competition and season to brands and agencies.

On Publicit, the publishers representing DAZN inventory list their spaces with price, estimated impressions, competition or programme and restrictions, and you request them from the dashboard with no deal with DAZN. The listing tells you whether the ad runs in-stream live or on demand, decisive in sport, and the event's audience data when the publisher provides them.

Which advertisers DAZN makes sense for

DAZN fits when you want to be present in a moment of concentrated, emotional audience: automotive brands, betting and sports sponsorship where the law allows it, drinks, technology and any advertiser whose public follows Formula 1, MotoGP or football. Because on Publicit you buy per space and target by city or region, a local business can appear in a sports broadcast only to households in its area, and combine it in the same budget with screens or billboards near the bar or the stadium.

DAZN is the only platform in the set dedicated to sport, and that changes the buying logic: the audience is not spread across the day but concentrated in races and matches, with very high and very predictable peaks. Compared with general streaming platforms, here the moment of broadcast matters as much as the platform, and the space listing tells you whether the ad runs live.

What it costs to advertise on DAZN

There is no public DAZN rate card: on Publicit the owner of each space sets its price and you see it on the listing before you request it. In live sport, inventory is priced by CPM, per thousand impressions, but the price depends heavily on the event and the moment of broadcast, and the listing publishes its estimated impressions for that specific space.

Media cost = (CPM × impressions delivered) ÷ 1,000

On top of that media cost comes the Publicit fee, which is 10% of the media budget, plus VAT on both amounts at the rate that applies where your company is based. The owner of the space receives their full price: the 10% is charged to you, separately.

A campaign needs a total budget of at least 500 and a daily budget of at least 50, in the campaign currency. A specific space can also require a minimum number of campaign days, set by its owner and shown on the listing. You pay when the owner approves your request, not before, and the amount is held in escrow until delivery is evidenced. The full model is on the pricing page and in how much it costs to advertise on TV.

How to run your ad on DAZN, step by step

  • Create an account with your work email. Signing up and browsing the infrastructure is free, and requesting a space costs nothing.
  • Search the DAZN spaces. Filter by platform, by competition or programme, by city or region and by price. Each listing shows the price, the buying model, the estimated impressions and whether the ad runs live.
  • Set budget, dates and targeting. Campaign objective, total and daily caps, frequency of 1 to 10 days, and targeting by location, age, gender and interests.
  • Upload the spot and request the space. The owner approves or declines it, usually within 48 hours. If declined, the request comes back to you for revision.
  • Pay on approval and go live. The charge only happens with the approval. Then you follow impressions from the dashboard or from an AI assistant through the MCP server.

What a television space listing publishes

Every television space on the infrastructure publishes what an advertiser needs to decide without calling anyone. On a sport platform like DAZN, what is decisive is the competition or programme, whether the ad runs in-stream live or on demand, the event's average viewers and rating when the publisher provides them, the price and its model, the estimated impressions, the minimum campaign days if any and the owner's restrictions. These are the fields the publisher fills in, not Publicit estimates.

The spot you need for DAZN

On DAZN the ad is a video that runs in the breaks of a sports broadcast or before on-demand content, in moments of high attention and little patience, so a short, clear spot works best. Publicit validates it against the IAB Spain video formats: MP4, WebM or MOV, as pre-roll or mid-roll, with the exact dimensions and file sizes on the creative specs page. The space owner also approves the creative. Publicit sells and manages media; it does not produce the spot.

Other platforms you can advertise on

The same campaign and the same budget can be split across several television platforms, and across digital screens, billboards, metro, press and radio too. Every television platform available is listed under TV platforms you can advertise on.

  • Netflix: subscription streaming with ads since 2022; not yet available on Publicit.
  • Prime Video: Amazon's streaming service, with limited ads in Spain since April 2024.
  • Disney+: Disney's streaming service, with a Standard with ads plan in Spain since November 2023.
  • HBO Max: Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming service, with a Basic with ads plan in Spain since April 2025.
  • Sky: Comcast's pay TV in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Austria.
