What bus advertising costs

You pay per bus per month, and the price depends on the format: how much of the bus your ad covers. AN Publicidad figures, excluding VAT and production:

What metro advertising costs

The metro is sold per face per week or per month. A jet panel, the 1.47 by 2 metre corridor panel, costs 280 euros per face per week at stations such as Goya or Velázquez on the Madrid Metro, and 350 at Feria de Madrid, plus 50 to 70 euros printing per face. A Madrid Metro mupi costs between 318 and 600 euros a month depending on its category, and a 4x3 platform billboard between 552 and 1,095 euros per week. On the Barcelona Metro a mupi costs 325 euros per week. All excluding VAT.

We found no public fortnightly rates for the metro: every source charges per week or per month.

Taxi advertising

Ads go on the roof sign, on the doors or as a full wrap. The agencies selling it in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia do not publish prices: they ask you to fill in a form and quote. That is why we give no figure; the only one circulating is over ten years old.

Who sells transit advertising

The buses of EMT Madrid, a fleet of over 2,000 buses, are sold by Global, which renewed the contract in 2024 for the third consecutive time; so are those of TMB in Barcelona and EMT Valencia, and the Barcelona metro. The Madrid Metro is sold by JCDecaux under a 10-year concession renewed in 2023. Neither publishes rates: you buy through an agency. On Publicit owners of sites on vehicles and in stations publish them with their price and you book them directly.

What each outdoor space shows on Publicit

On Publicit each outdoor site is published by its owner with the data an advertiser needs to decide without calling anyone:

  • Location, Street View and photos. You see the street and the framing of the site before booking it.
  • Dimensions and illumination. Width and height with their unit, and whether the site is lit.
  • Viewing angle and distance, and daily traffic. When the owner publishes them, they let you compare sites in the same area.
  • Nearby points of interest. For example a shopping centre or a station, with its distance.
  • Price and model. Fixed, dynamic or negotiable price, usually per week or per month, or by impressions on digital screens. Some owners group several sites into a pack, the equivalent of a circuit.
  • What you must deliver and when. Dimensions, formats and how many hours in advance they need the final artwork.

How to buy outdoor advertising without an agency

On Publicit you buy directly from the owner of each site, from your browser:

  • Create an account with your work email. It is free and nothing is charged for browsing or requesting.
  • Search by city and site type. Billboards, bus shelters, mupis, buses, stations or digital screens, each with its price on the listing.
  • Set budget and dates. Minimum 500 euros per campaign and 50 euros per day. A site can require a minimum number of days, shown on its listing.
  • Upload the artwork and request. The owner approves or asks for changes, usually within 48 hours.
  • Pay on approval. The site's price plus a 10% fee and VAT. Payment is held until the owner proves the placement with a photo, video or document.
