What renting an 8x3 billboard costs by city, what printing and installing it costs, and how to book it yourself.
Signing up and browsing spaces and prices is free. New advertisers get a 100 euro discount on their first campaign payment.
Renting an 8x3 metre billboard in Spain costs, according to 2026 public rates, between 312 and 450 euros a month in a small town or on the outskirts, between 400 and 700 in a mid-sized capital, and between 700 and 1,200 in the busiest areas of Madrid or Barcelona, excluding VAT. Printing comes on top: between 80 and 150 euros per fortnight on paper, or between 400 and 550 euros once for a vinyl that lasts the whole campaign. Another agency puts the average between 300 and 500 euros a month. On Publicit each billboard shows its location on Street View, its dimensions, whether it is lit and its price before you request it, and you book it from 500 euros per campaign.
The price depends above all on location: how many people and cars pass by, and in which city. These are the figures two agencies publish, per month, excluding VAT and printing.

|---|---|---|

Per week, the same rates come to between 78 and 300 euros per face. These are rate-card prices: long campaigns or several billboards usually get a discount.
The rent does not include the poster. There are two options: paper, changed every fortnight at between 80 and 150 euros each time, or vinyl, put up once for the whole campaign at between 400 and 550 euros including installation. Another agency quotes 400 to 480 euros for producing and mounting an 8x3 billboard. For a short campaign paper usually works out cheaper; for a long one, vinyl.
On Publicit each billboard's listing states what you must deliver (the final artwork with its dimensions and formats) and how far in advance, and whether the owner handles printing and installation.
Billboards in Spain are traditionally sold by fortnight (catorcena), 14-day periods, or by month. On Publicit there is no platform minimum in days: the minimum is budget, 500 euros per campaign and 50 per day, and each billboard can require a minimum number of days shown on its listing before you request it.
Three things matter more than price:
On Publicit each outdoor site is published by its owner with the data an advertiser needs to decide without calling anyone:
On Publicit you buy directly from the owner of each site, from your browser:

Public rates almost always refer to the 8x3 metre format. On Publicit each billboard publishes its exact dimensions on the listing.
Traditionally a fortnight, 14 days. On Publicit the minimum is budget (500 euros per campaign) and each billboard can set a minimum number of days, visible on its listing.
Not if the billboard already exists: the licence belongs to the site and is held by the owning company. Madrid's 2009 bylaw also holds the advertiser responsible for infringements, so it pays to book with a holder in good standing.
On Publicit, yes: each billboard shows its location on Street View and photos, plus dimensions, illumination and, when the owner publishes them, daily traffic and nearby points of interest.
Market figures are public and third-party (agencies and resellers), excluding VAT unless stated, with their date. Bus and metro concession holders do not publish rates. Publicit facts come from the platform itself.
