A mupi is the vertical street panel, usually lit. A bus shelter is the bus stop with an advertising panel. Both are sold per face per week, individually or in circuits. Public figures, excluding VAT:

The two agencies give different figures for Madrid and Barcelona because they sell different things: individual faces in specific locations versus large circuits of the digital network. Take the full range as the reference.

Circuits and single faces

In big cities street furniture has traditionally been sold in circuits: dozens or hundreds of faces spread across the city, priced as a set. That is what makes starting expensive. If your business serves one neighbourhood, you want the opposite: a few faces near you.

On Publicit you pick face by face, seeing the exact corner on Street View, and the owner can also offer packs of several faces, which work like a tailored circuit.

What you need to advertise on a mupi

A poster printed to the site's size, or an image or video file if the mupi is digital. On Publicit each listing states what you must deliver, with what dimensions and formats, and how many hours in advance. Digital screens have no printing cost; they are covered in digital screen advertising.

What each outdoor space shows on Publicit

On Publicit each outdoor site is published by its owner with the data an advertiser needs to decide without calling anyone:

  • Location, Street View and photos. You see the street and the framing of the site before booking it.
  • Dimensions and illumination. Width and height with their unit, and whether the site is lit.
  • Viewing angle and distance, and daily traffic. When the owner publishes them, they let you compare sites in the same area.
  • Nearby points of interest. For example a shopping centre or a station, with its distance.
  • Price and model. Fixed, dynamic or negotiable price, usually per week or per month, or by impressions on digital screens. Some owners group several sites into a pack, the equivalent of a circuit.
  • What you must deliver and when. Dimensions, formats and how many hours in advance they need the final artwork.

How to buy outdoor advertising without an agency

On Publicit you buy directly from the owner of each site, from your browser:

  • Create an account with your work email. It is free and nothing is charged for browsing or requesting.
  • Search by city and site type. Billboards, bus shelters, mupis, buses, stations or digital screens, each with its price on the listing.
  • Set budget and dates. Minimum 500 euros per campaign and 50 euros per day. A site can require a minimum number of days, shown on its listing.
  • Upload the artwork and request. The owner approves or asks for changes, usually within 48 hours.
  • Pay on approval. The site's price plus a 10% fee and VAT. Payment is held until the owner proves the placement with a photo, video or document.
