TV and outdoor advertising for startups, without an agency

A startup does not need an agency or a retainer to run a television or outdoor campaign on Publicit. You pay for individual spaces rather than for a period of activity, so one billboard for a week or one CTV placement is a valid purchase. Signing up is free and the first campaign payment carries a 100 euro discount.

What it costs to start

A campaign needs a total budget of at least 500 and a daily budget of at least 50, in the campaign's currency. Above that you pay per space rather than per period, so the practical floor is the price of the spaces you book, and there is no monthly minimum or spend commitment. You can filter the marketplace by price and by minimum impressions before deciding anything.

There is no retainer either. An agency relationship usually starts with a monthly fee before any media is bought; here the only thing you pay is the media budget, plus a 10% platform fee and VAT.

The first campaign payment gets a 100 euro discount, applied to the taxable base before VAT.

Why one space is a real test

Because you pay per space, you can buy a single placement in the one city that matters to you, run it, and stop. That is not possible when the unit of purchase is a quarter of activity negotiated with a sales team.

Pick Awareness as the campaign objective and the inventory that fits is the inventory built for being seen: large-format outdoor, DOOH in high-footfall locations, and CTV.

The part startups underestimate

Every space you request is reviewed by the publisher who owns it, who decides whether your campaign runs there. That is a filter, but it is also the reason a placement carries weight: the media owner chose to run you.

It also means your objective, targeting and creative need to be consistent with each other. A publisher reading an incoherent campaign has no reason to accept it.

What you still have to bring

The creative. Publicit sells and manages media, not production. A CTV placement needs a spot; outdoor and screens need artwork at the format's dimensions.

If you cannot produce that yet, the channel is not open to you, and an agency or a production partner is the honest answer.
