Sell your advertising space directly to advertisers

Publicit is a marketplace where media owners list their advertising inventory, set their own price and approve every campaign that wants to run on it.

Free to list. Publicit's fee is charged to the advertiser and never deducted from your payout.

Screens, billboards, TV and connected TV, radio, print, newsletters and sponsorships: listing is free and there is no commission on your side. The advertiser pays your full price, and Publicit charges its 10% fee on top of it. The money is held in escrow from the moment the advertiser pays, and is transferred to your Stripe account once your proof of delivery is accepted.

Media owners this is built for

Publicit sells space, not clicks. If you own something people look at or listen to, it can be listed:

Outdoor

Billboards, digital screens, transit and street furniture: a single screen in a shop window or a network of two hundred.

Digital

Websites, apps, newsletters and social channels, priced per thousand impressions, per click, per lead or per send.

Television and connected TV

Linear slots and streaming inventory, including programmatic CTV.

Radio

And podcasts.

Print

Newspapers and magazines, with a booking deadline per issue.

Sponsorship

Events, teams, venues and content.

Each listing has one of six types in the platform, and the fields you fill in change with it: an outdoor space asks for daily traffic, illumination and viewing distance; a digital one asks for viewability, click-through and open rates; a print one asks for its booking deadline.

What you decide in a listing

The listing is yours. Publicit does not set prices, does not add a markup and does not decide who gets to advertise on your space.

DecisionYour options
Price modelFixed price, dynamic price, or negotiable
RateCPM, CPC, CPD, CPA, CPL, CPV or a flat fee, in EUR, USD or GBP
DurationFixed dates, ongoing, a single event, or newsletter sends, with a minimum number of campaign days
RestrictionsCategories you block outright, or flag with a warning the advertiser sees
PoliciesYour cancellation policy, refund policy, content ownership and legal requirements, plus any custom clause
DeliverablesWhat you need from the advertiser (photo, video, audio or other), marked required, optional or recommended, with dimensions, maximum duration, accepted formats, resolution, file size and the minimum notice before the placement runs
AvailabilityAvailable, unavailable or draft, switched at any time

Every listing also carries its location down to the exact address, its estimated reach, and the audience data you have: age range, gender, industry. Advertisers filter the marketplace on price and reach, so the more complete the listing, the more often it shows up.

You approve every campaign

An advertiser builds a campaign, adds your space to it and sends the request. You see the campaign, its dates, its budget and its creatives before anything happens.

  • Approve the proposal or reject it. Nothing runs on your space without your approval, and a rejected request goes back to the advertiser, who can revise it and send it again.
  • Review each creative separately: approve it, or reject it with a reason and suggested changes.
  • Approval is per space. A campaign with five publishers does not wait for all five, and your decision only covers your inventory.
  • After you approve, the advertiser completes payment. If the payment has not arrived within 72 hours, the reservation is released automatically and your space is free again.

Once paid, the space is reserved for the campaign and becomes active on its start date.

How and when you get paid

The advertiser is charged your agreed price plus Publicit's 10% fee plus VAT, in a single Stripe payment to Publicit. Your part is 100% of the agreed price, and it is held in escrow from that moment.

  1. Advertiser pays

The full amount is charged to their card and held by Publicit. Nothing reaches you yet, and nothing can be spent elsewhere either.

  2. Campaign runs

    The money stays in escrow.

  3. You submit proof of delivery

Metrics and evidence files, reviewed by the advertiser.

  4. Advertiser accepts the proof

Stripe transfers your full agreed price to your connected account.

  5. Advertiser rejects the proof and asks for a refund

The transfer is reversed only if it had already been made; otherwise the escrow is refunded.

On a space you listed at 1,000 euros, you receive 1,000.

Publicit's 10% fee and the VAT are charged to the advertiser on top, and never come out of your side. Promotional discounts Publicit gives new advertisers come out of Publicit's side and never reduce your payout. Publicit issues the legal invoice to the advertiser for the full amount. The complete charge model is on the pricing page.

Payouts go through Stripe Connect, with an Express account you set up from the dashboard in a few minutes. You can publish listings before connecting Stripe, but an advertiser cannot pay for your space until the account is active, so it is the first thing to do.

Proof of delivery

You report what ran. The advertiser accepts, and the money moves.

When the placement has run, you report what was delivered from the dashboard: impressions, clicks and reach where they apply, plus files as evidence. A photo of the billboard, a screenshot of the screen schedule, a broadcast log, a newsletter report.

The advertiser sees the report and accepts or rejects it. Accepting releases your payout. If you need to correct something, submit again: the new report replaces the previous one and goes back to review. Rejected figures never count in the advertiser's reporting, so what they see as delivered is what you evidenced and they accepted.

Connected TV and programmatic inventory

Television and connected TV spaces can be flagged as programmatic inventory. Those are made available to Publicit's ad exchange, and their delivery is measured from the exchange itself rather than reported by hand afterwards. If you run a streaming service, a FAST channel or a broadcaster's app, this is how your inventory is sold on Publicit.

Your team and your account

A publisher account is created as a publisher at sign-up, separate from advertiser accounts. Inside it you invite colleagues with one of three roles, owner, admin or user, so the person who manages listings does not need to be the person who owns the Stripe account.

Frequently asked questions from publishers

No. Creating an account and publishing listings is free. Publicit earns its 10% fee from the advertiser, on top of your price, when a campaign is paid. If nothing is booked, nobody pays anything.

None. You receive the full price you set for your space. The 10% platform fee is charged to the advertiser on top of your price, and any promotional discount given to the advertiser is Publicit's cost, not yours.

Yes. Nothing runs without your approval. You reject the request, and the advertiser can revise it and send it again. You can also reject individual creatives with a reason and suggested changes. A request you do not approve does not run and is never charged.

When the advertiser accepts your proof of delivery. The money has been in escrow since the advertiser paid, so your payout does not depend on anyone settling an invoice later: it is a Stripe transfer of the full agreed price to your connected account.

Yes, to receive money. Publicit uses Stripe Connect Express accounts, set up from the dashboard in a few minutes. You can create listings before connecting Stripe, but an advertiser cannot pay for your space until your Stripe account is active.

Yes. Fixed, dynamic or negotiable price, and the rate type of your choice: CPM, CPC, CPD, CPA, CPL, CPV or a flat fee, in euros, dollars or pounds. You also set the minimum campaign length, the categories you block, and your cancellation, refund and content policies.

The reservation is released automatically after 72 hours without payment and your space is available again. You do not have to chase anyone.

Yes. A listing is one space, and the marketplace is built for media owners of any size: one screen in a shop, a regional newspaper, a cinema, a streaming channel. What matters is that the listing is complete, because advertisers filter on price, location and reach.
